The winners of the Spring campaign of TGD 2010/2011 and the overall winners are…
The students from New Hope Academy (USA) have won the Spring campaign with 41 650 points and with that they became the overall winners of The Global Debates 2010-2011. The great teamof 9 core debaters and their supervisor Hanna Oh have throughout the year collected amazing 89550 points by organizing debates, inviting public officials, capturing videos and photos but mainlyorganizing service projects! Well done!
The second place of TGD Spring 2011 campaign was won by Gymnazium Tisovec, who collected 33 650 points. This also helped them to secure second place in the overall ranking of TGD 2010/2011.
The Villa Maria Academy (Chile) and Brother Rice high school (USA) have secured themselvesthird and fourth place by earning 25 350 and 24 400 points respectively.
The above mentioned 4 teams have won a spot at the 2011 IDEA Youth Forum in Istanbul! Theywill receive a full fee waiver and flight tickets for 3 students and 1 coach to participate in the largesthigh school debate event of the summer!
